funny little story over xmas :D 1-0 to the big vauxhall

coming back from the missus' family home xmas day about 9ish, a group of lads in a little 206 noticed at the lights that on my boot lid is "3.2 v6" and dicided to accelerate up to my boot and back off and repeat...as they do, then we got to the dual carrage way so i left it in 2nd gear as i knew what was coming...he revved the nuts off his little engine, must of been 1.4 at a guess... and so when he got level when his friends thought they were going to "do me" i squeezed the throttle and off i went!! after a bit of playing and obviously no speed limit was broken i let them past just so i could fly past their shoe box at the lights they pulled to the near side and i put my window down and he admitted he didnt know why he tried it being a V6 and would only race me if i was in reverse.... lol dont you just love it when the roads are dead at xmas!

Even some of the hot hatches shouldn't understimate the 3.2, I loved mine when I had it and still miss it sometimes.

oh yeh my mates 225 focus st struggled, although did win against a 3.2 a few months ago i remember him telling me..... ive not had too many boy racers trying it, maybe they dont want to be shown up in front of their 15 year old gf's lol

Theres a very interesting thread on here somewhere that has a link to a story on a Subaru site. The owner of a WRX tells a story of being 'killed' by a 3.2 V6 Vec. He himself states that his scoob had nothing left and he had to watch the vec disappear

I had some guy in a 1.8 Vec B try a week or so ago

EDIT- The story was about a 3.0 V6 CDTi, not a 3.2 V6. So even more impressive
