What is your average MPG around town in your vectra 1.9 cdti??

i voted 40- 45 as that is what im getting just done 561 miles but that did inclued two small trips /didcot mini meet and blackbush also a mini meet .

When I bought the car it got around 35-38mpg:

So I did the air box mod, had her remapped, cleaned boost sensor and checked tyre pressures and changed thermostat and now I get:

45mpg on average

thats probably some of the reasons why am getting 30-35 on average...need to get those little mods done

Im only getting about 32mpg which i thinks poor.Might try these mods you have done to try and improve my mpg.Whats the best one to do first apart from tyre pressure.?

High 30's to low 40's is the average for town only work.

after my remap it went to 36.9 from 34.9! not very good really but as soon as its on motorway it goes to around 44!
