    Unhappy Unhappy Again

    More bad luck for me.
    Well I suppose I have not had a phyical accident in a while touch wood!! which is good.

    But Broke my laptop yesterday Total BLUE SCREEN no mater what you tried!!!

    I will have to send it back and see if it can be repaired.

    So not a Happy Bunny!!!!

    Limited internet access for me for a while.
    At work at the moment.
    But I need to go help fix a burst water pipe!!!

    yeah naughty sites always tend to wreck your computer lol! If its HP you will have great fun getting it repaired..

    If its the blue screen then the recovery discs should help - although reformatting means you will loose all data stored on the hard drive.

    If you send it back and there is not a fault you may be liable for a repair bill even if it is under warranty.

    Blue screen usually means catastrophic hardware failure - which means the faulty piece would need replacing OR Windows is not happy - nothing the restore/recovery CD cant fix. I would try that first as it may fix the problem.

    Tried everything including the recovery cd!
    It would start to try and fix problem but blue screen kept coming back.
    Will contact Dell at some point. I do hope it is covered by the warranty

    There's usually some codes that come up when it goes blue - these might help you (or us) point in the right direction...
