Default Cylinder head testing and skimming....

Does anyone know what the going rate is for having a cylinder head pressure tested and skimmed?

Need to sort out sending my head away so was wondering what the price is so I don't pay too much.

Thats ok so far I've been quoted £95 to test and skim my head and from what I can tell it seems a tad pricey.

Just skim. But why do you think it will need testing. We have done "many" head skims over the years and never had a problem with them.

Its probably just me worrying lol, I basically bought the head second hand after being sat around so was in a filthy state.

I've so far stripped it completely and cleaned it up a bit, still need to get a pressure washer in it to clean the last lil bit of rubbish out of it.

So whether or not it needs testing I'm not 100% sure, just me worrying lol
