emission light on intermitently and engine cut out

hi new on here so hope you guys can help
just bought vectra c 2003 2.2 sri petrol
issue in morning the emission warning lights comes on and stays on
then at least twice the car will just cut out and wont restart again for a minute or so .
later on in the day this light will go out and car runs fine with no issues
i dont want to get ripped of by vauxhall dealer have had car on a diagnostics machine and no fault codes were on it apart from speradik manufacturers fault which the guy told me meant the ecu did not recognise the fault..... HELP!!!!!!!!

not all code reader's will read the code.

u may need a tech 2 or op-com to read this.
