Rang Vx HQ for some Warranty info on the CDTI 150 and got this back....

As requested, please find below the warranty repairs which have been made to your vehicle:-

• Steering Colum Module has been replaced.
• Air bag control Unit was replaced.
• Hand break spring replaced.
• Wiper motor replaced.
• Flywheel removed and re fitted.
• Intake manifold replaced.

Im quite happy about the information they have sent me, although they have missed off the Cruise Control Switch which the dealers confirmed had been changed.
Now I will write back to them and say I have all these problems, especially a suspected Intake Manifold, so what you gonna do about it, especially IF its not the re-designed one.

This should also assist with the Watchdog thingymajig!

So if my Intake Manifold is scrooged now, within 2 years of replacement, what do you think they would say about that? Possibly off?

You won't get anywhere. If the inlet manifold was replaced 2 years ago, then they have given warranty on the repair for a year and it has not expired.

Warranty items are only guaranteed for the remainder of the original warranty or 12 months.
