Design springs are the same as elite standards hight etc the only spring that are different are for sri. You have to have the correct spings for the v6cdti as the engine is so heavy. In standard or sri form.

I have just checked the vauxhall epg. they show all the same springs for all models execp with sports suspension and bad road springs . I may be wrong but you have to have v6cdti spring if you fit any other the car will scrap the floor.
The dampers are the same for standard springs. they are different for sports suspension and again different for police vehicles.
I've been looking about for the Bilstein shocks.
So there's B4 / B6 and B8 to choose from.
Now there's a huge price difference between the B4's and the other 2, 4 times the price in some places.
I presume the B4 is more like the OE spec (but just better), rather than upgraded B6's or the shorter bodied B8's.
On a cost basis the B4's are very good value - Do owners who have them rate them very good, or do they wish they had bought the more expensive B6/8's?
Just now thinking about the B4's and daviek's Design springs. That would be 15mm lower than I have just now but with better damping. It is the wifes car and has the Irmscher front lip spoiler fitted so don't want to go too low.
Daviek isn't looking for a lot for his springs, and I could have it all done for under £200.
At the end of the day should I decide to go for Eibachs later on, it isn't the end of the world cost wise.
Any thoughts?
Davy
