    Default Cars been lowered but...

Right guys , I have lowered the car 45/40 , and must say it looks a lot meaner. Only thing is now I think I need new dampers/shocks as there is about 1" play up and down and every speed hump i go over it feels like the damper is hitting home.
Is it possible I have done something wrong whilst fitting them or can some one suggest what shocks to go for. I have been told that the dampers should have been fine , my cars an elegance BTW, so I dont have sri suspension. Any help will be greatfully received.

Your dampers are shot and have little resistance by the sound of things bud.

The reason shortened shocks are normally fitted are to stop the spring dislocating and you have the opposite problem....bottoming out on the bump stops.

A set of bilstein b4's would see you good and are the most cost effective option

cheers Khalid , I have a mate who gets a fair discount at eurocar parts and I'll have a word with Dan at LMF too. Is it best to stick to the B4's or worth an upgrade to anything else?
