    Default Re-map for non turbo

I always thought that remaps were pretty pointless for non turbocharged cars, but someone told me otherwise today, any idea what sorta BHP increase from a remap, drive a 2.2 petrol.

About 5 - 10 % increase at the most with no other mods

Ahh, probably not worth the £300-400 asking price then really, think it's 145 BHP as standard!

I would go for Superchips to be honest, they are probably one of the best for a simple stage one re-map.

Standard is 144bhp, with superchips you will see +10bhp and alot better drivability. Not bad value for money either. I have driven a Corsa C 1.8 (123bhp) and it had a superchip re-map to 131bhp. Not massive but the car was so much better to drive afterwards, no flat spots and much better through the gears. My cousin who owned the car at the time was thrilled to bits with it.
