    Default Painted Calipers

What type of paint have you guys used to paint your callipers? I thought of using Hammerite, will this suffice? Im at my parents house for Xmas so Im a little bored, thought I might as well do a few bits and bobs to the Vectra while I have some spare time on my hands. Suggestions welcome. Cheers.

Yeah hemmerite is the best imo. Thats what I used on mine, don't put it on too thick though as it'll run. Best to do a few light coats

takes an age to dry if temp is below (about) 8 degrees, but yes hammerite every time for me. I do the edge of the disks and any rusty parts on the hub while im at it. Black or silver hammerite on last couple ive done but did the vec blue and posted a thread somewhere (although it could have been on VVOC as it was ages ago).

Mine is Ultra Blue. Has anyone got any pics of an Ultra Blue car with painted calipers of any colour to give me an idea of which colour to paint mine?

There is heat resistant paint specifically for applications like brake calipers
Preparation is all and you'll need to be very thorough getting rid of the corrosion, dust & general crud if you want a decent finish.
Or, you can buy powder coated calipers in a variety of colours.
