Borrowed a Rav4

It's my Mother's and she will not be needing it but with the conditions, my 35 mile trek to work will be easier.

Was my first experience of driving on snow in a 4wd and wow, its a different world.

The Vectra is OK in the snow, just keep revs low and barely touch the throttle. The wife's Tigra is quite possibly the worst car I have driven in snow so it will be parked up until the roads are clear again. It is only a 1.4 but it will not work in slippy conditions.

The Toyota just goes, I was in foot deep snow and it didn't even phase it. Can totally see the attraction of 4wd vehicles.

me too, for the whole 2 weeks of snow we get...

Suprised my vectra is even handling the snow, the fullrun tires slip all over in the wet but not one slip in the snow... must be as the all have full tread...
