If you have fully comp insurance, then claim for a replacement windscreen

I think your best bet would be a new screen. the MOT testers manual says that it is a failure if there is damage in zone A which is not contained within a 10mm circle. The way to find zone A is if you sit in the drivers seat and draw an imaginary line at either outer edge of the steering wheel up onto the windscreen and the swept area of the wipers within that area

Basically no, Diamond is the hardest natural substance known to man so theres nothing that will take the scratches out.

£325 for a new one.... thats more than my insurance per year....

the hardness of what made the scratches is irrelivent its the material that is scratched you could scratch butter with a diamond but your finger would smooth it out

i agree ur better of with a new screen, remember to check if its a real diamond they try to cut glass with it, so my bet will be that the scratches will be pretty deep
