    Default What SOT cable?

To fit a parrot mk6000 to a NCDC 2013? there's a thread on here that has a PDF list etc, but I fitted the sot 078 as it says and I thought it was working fine.... Until I went to use my satnav, the screen flickered.... The buttons on the steering wheel either did something random or nothing at all!

Just popped to halfords and they say sot 122.... I'd like to believe them.... But....

Think they are right mate seem to remember me using a sot122 lead for my one and i used that for the telematic kit

**edit** Just looked again and i used a sot 78 lead for my ccr2006 and telematic kit but i'm sure the sot-122 lead is for full canbus cars eg:cd70 so i would assume it would have the quad lock fittings so will be no good

Only 2 choices you have mate are

Variation: 3 DIGIT STEREO eg CDR500
    Amp type: Not relevant

    ISO Creation: SOT-053
    Relayed Telemute Lead: 06-053B
    Direct Input Loom: 06-102B
    Additionals: Not relevant

    or

    Make: VAUXHALL
    Model: VECTRA
    Year: 2004

Variation: 4 DIGIT STEREO eg CDR2005
    Amp type: Not relevant

    ISO Creation: SOT-078
    Relayed Telemute Lead: 06-078B
    Direct Input Loom: 06-115B
    Additionals: Not relevant

SOT-122 will not work as you dont have the quad lock fittings

Make sure all the pins are pushed in correctly i remember the lead i had was poor quality and some pins pushed back out so didn't connect right

So I guess I'll try the 053... I'm just confused why the buttons all changed or didnt work at all... unless I had a dodgy lead in the first place.

Lead may well be dodgy mate as ive said some leads are built very poorly,my advise would be to buy another SOT-078 lead from halfrauds on the understanding that if it don't work correctly you can bring it back, then try it and make sure its all pushed in correctly.

I remember doing mine and i have to say i had to take out my glovebox and feed the lead down the side as there's no room at all behind HU

Yeah I found that too... I think the bluetooth module thing interferes with the CID... I might have to try and move it a little further away.

Use this page to input your Parrot/Car deatils:

    http://www.parrot.com/uk/support/installationdiagrams

it comes up with this lead:

    http://www.parrotshopping.com/uk/p_p....aspx?i=145292

Doesn't give an equivalent SOT number though.
