    Default TC and ABS light

both stayed on continously on the wifes vec last night, even when not moving. Has she stuffed it?

Couldn't check it as she didn't get home (left the car and walked to friends house) will look at it tonight.

Snow? Ice ? Good bet the wheelspeed sensors were packed fill of ice. Once you can be sure the ice on the car underside has melted, try again.

By any chance had the TC disabled its self on the ice?

If the wheels spin too much then the tc automatically disables (does the same on rolling roads)

If the TC kills itself when the wheels spin too much, how long do I need to wait before it turns itself back on? i've had TC and ABS lights on for 2 days now (but it's not got above -1C here)

Wait till it thaws, as already said, the sensors are probably full of ice.

Disconnect the battery overnight. That should reset itself.

I perposely spun the wheels to get the TC off this morning to have fun in the work car park. As soon as the car is switched off and on again it resets.
