    Exclamation Cluth and flywheel 2.0 Dti vectra ???

    hello my vectra seems to be juddering/shakey when driving although when i put the clutch in its seems to go smooth ( no juddering ) ???

    i have been told this could be the flywheel on its way out?? is that true?

    also how much would this cost for the replacement part? does anyone have a part number for this??

    Flywheel on the way out? What do you mean by that? Isn't the DTi a solid flywheel and therefore the only realistic failure would be wear which shouldn't cause the symptoms you describe.

    Is it speed related or engine related? Are the engine mounts in good condition - try 'rocking' the engine and watching for movement.

    Are engine to gearbox bolts all tight?


    If the flywheel is dual mass (I can't remember if DTi ever had them) then it could be a sign that it is on it's way out.

    The dti is a dual mass fly wheel & a common fail as with every motor all different makes that use a dmf

    well i took my car to vauxhall main dealer today for a free test drive with the main technical expert and the first thing he said was it feels like its running on three cylinders, or an injector is nackered. basically he couldnt tell wat was wrong by just driving it but he DID rule out the clutch and flywheel he said in his opinion it defintly is not the flywheel...

    i have book my car in at vauxhall dealer on tuesday for a full diagnostic check and for the mechanics to have a good rummage around the engine for any faults which is costing me £40


    any advice....???

    well took my vec 2.0 dti 2002 to another garage today done a diagnostics check and no codes came up??? mechanic said the juddering at 1500+revs is 100percent DMF failure


    arrrrrrrrgh!! 1000pound to fix hahha i need a second hand / used clutch and DMF asap

    any ideas fellas

    ive got one to mate my flywheel was 340 and my clutch was 180 then fitting on top cheapest quote i got was 800 fitted with warranty were bouts u from

    Hartlepool up north near middlesborough. im thinking of finding a back end smash vectra with low milage and getting the clutch off that.....

    hi mate
    thats my set which is completely ****ed if that can help you I did get
    my dmf and clutch from eurocarparts. I did push them very far with the price and all came on to 403 squidos and I got exactly what was factory fitted sachs dmf and Luk clutch ( comes with slave cylinder too ) then my good mate mechanic fitted them for me. Now clutch and gearbox feels a lot of lighter ( so as damn wallet )
