if you had to go into a breakers yard and see tyres that are suitable to your car and you need some would you buy them from the breakers yard ?

Why not? I bought an entire set of SRI wheels once that I didnt need, for the sake of the tyres!

Anyone who says that they wouldn't because they don't know the history of the tyre should also ask that same question if they buy a second hand car. As they wouldn't know the history of any tyres fitted to that either........

I voted yes, IF they were clearly not damaged, were a brand I could trust, and were at the right price for their expected life on my car.

I have bought second hand tyres, as long as they are in good condition and good brands then why not, most times they are better than those cheepie tyres imo
