Default Have i ordered the right ones?

I orded some springs off the www.potn.co.uk site last night. Although I could find any for the 1.9 cdti.

I have ordered the 45mm drop ones for a 2.0 dti etc etc.

I was thinking about some off ebay to fit the 1.9cdti which claim a 60/45 drop. Although they wernt a branded name which put me off.

What reviews do you guys have about the 45mm drop all round on Pi springs?? Who else has used it?

You should replace the shockers too if lowering more than 40mm

Whatever you think buddy but your shocks wont be doing much absorbing. Not saying it cant be done and it will look good but it will have a negative effect on the handling.

I have the PI 30mm drop springs with Billstein b4s on rear but still got the original oem shockers on the fronts, and i can tell you now that the fronts bottom out over modest speed humps,in fact on the odd ocasion i have gone over the hump a bit too fast and bang lower jaw hits upper jaw...think on mate.

Fair enough. We'll see what happens.
I wanted to go lower but my only option is coilovers. I suppose this will be the next suspension upgrade from these.

So can somebody shed some light weather these will actually fit?

Are the springs the same on the 2.0dti?

I have the PI -45mm springs on my CDTi SRi with (new) standard SRi shocks and the ride is fantastic, no bottoming out at all and turn in is far, far sharper - high recommended.

The springs are the same for the 1.9CDTi, 2.0DTi, 3.2V6 etc... so you should be fine.

You would need new shorter shocks if you were fitting these to a non-SRi but the SRi shocks should be fine - mine is

Have you ordered the right axle weight springs as there are a host of variations and depending on the lump you have fitted the springs are different, well for the front anyway I belive most of the backs are the same ay 985kgs.
