Don't forget you need to inform your insurance company if you change from OEM exhaust.

I decided to get a OEM fitted (By indie for £800ish) instead of the hassle of informing my insurance and getting the policy changed, in hindsight I should habe just got a custom SS from MIJ. You live and learn.

P3chy - I've got the stock exhaust for 53 plate - where the outlets do not go through the bumper but are directed downwards - so nothing fancy TIS part No K0010304

I've send an e-mail to Vx to clarify their sales policy and justify the high cost.

Google simon's custom exhaust's mate, he is based in EK and so far he must have done around 12 vectra/signum's. He was around £350 for a full system

BTW he done a full system for me a couple of years back on my 2.0t andthe workmanship is excellent!

If they point downwards, then you have been well over quoted. The full cat back system I bought recently was for the exposed dual branch type.

hi gr8crow - you are not alone i too looked into a replacement rear box for my 2.0t signum and i was floored by the price quoted by vx for each rear box iirc oiro £1k - so i bit the bullet - purchased a new rear bumper insert for around £35 and had a full cat back system fitted for under £350
the sytem comes with a lifetime warranty - all its needs it a system check once a year and its covered for life - so its a no brainer really - vx system (hidden)for a grand and a 12 month parts only warranty or £385 for a lifetime warranty on a system that you can pick the look/ sound of

There was some good discount there, but the rear double silencer with dual branch retailed at £480 and the centre section at about £180/£190 so still way less than the £1000.
