Default Lack of power, EGR fault?

The dreaded spanner/car warning light is on again. About 3 months ago I had a MAF sensor malfunction fault P0100 - Mass Or Volume Air Flow Circuit High Input , so i took the car to the dealer i got it from and they replaced it under AA warranty, now still, when i accelerate over 60ish mph, i get the light appear and i have a very distinct lack of power and only get 2500-3000 rpm and the fault code appears again. To clear i just switch off and restart but it comes on again soon after.

The car has been back to the dealers and to a diesel specialist who apparently have found no faults with the vehicle and just cleared the fault everytime (now twice)

I have been advised to clean out my EGR valve but i cannot get it shifted from the bulkhead. I have undone the torx bolts and coolant pipes and used pentrating oil to loosen it but to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this problem and how did you over come it.

Did cleaning out the EGR valve resolve your problem?

Mine did the same thing a while back after they put in an EGR valve and they then told me I needed a manifold.Never heard of the EGR sticking tight to the bulk head before, hope you get it off.

Should just come away pretty easy mate.
Just do the torx bolts as you say, and remove the electrical connection to the solenoid end.

Mine came away pretty easy after that, though i guess it depends on how long you have had it on, and for how long with the same gasket.

The gasket could be effectively working like superglue with the heat.expansion of the engine.

Let it cool right down, and get some fairy liquid around the seals. Leverage it from the bottom rather than the top
