Default Hids direct kit, quick question

Can anyone tell me if the vauxhall ultra 35w hid kit from HID-Direct.com comes with the rubber grommit for the hole that you have to drill through the cap behind the headlamp? To keep the unit air tight.

the ones that are just under the bulb moulded around the wiring? I am only asking as this is the H1 kit.

Also does this kit just plug stright into the OEM socket which would go onto the standard halogen bulb?

I have the standard headlight units (non HID) on my 07 SRi vectra, if you have the same and you have fitted this kit did it change the beam pattern? (have you noticed any glare at all or been flashed?)

    Thanks for any info.

Yep the rubber grommet underneath the bulb seals the hole.If you have a rubber cap then you can use a pound coin and go round it with a sharp knife you will find it makes the right size hole. HTH

Just read the other bit in your post. The kit is just plug and play so easy to fit.It would be best to get your headlights checked after fitting for alignment shouldnt cost more than a tenner.

I would have thought an MOT tester would not test that because they are not leagal.

So that is just a case of faulty parts? Is the 35w kit good enough or would it be worth getting the 50w kit?

I've read that a few times before, know that they would not be leagal but as long as the lights are not going to glare anyone and I can actually see at night I'm not bothered.
