    Yes i know i always leave it in gear aswell but the one time i didnt the ****** handbrake failed!

    The only person that blamed me for not putting my handbrake on was the missus shock horror lol.

    Thing is I don't know what I would kick myself for more, coming to find my car in a fence with a broken handbrake, or getting in and starting the engine up in a hurry, forgetting to put my foot on the clutch and ending up parked inside the car in front of me.

    At least I could blame the handbrake failing on the car, not myself! lol

    Lets hope some lessons have been learned!

    Thank god a young child or anyone else was not killed or injured, thats the important thing. Very lucky indeed.
