    Smile signum 2.0 Turbo

    hi

    i am after changing my old battered 99plate v6 vectra and looking at a signum 2.0 Turbo.
    i have got a toddler with a child seat and another on the way so would that pretty take the rear up???
    engine wise its a good engine isnt it pretty robust

    any thoughts would be appreciated

    this was one of the main reasons why i got a signum
    my little lad can sit comfortably in the back with plenty of room for all of his associated baggage and there was even plenty of room in the boot for a 6 stone labradoodle

    and the 2.0t is a dream and highly tweakable when your ready to play

    It's not actually a Saab engine. It was designed and developed by Lotus, first used by Opel/Vauxhall in the 2.2 Vectra B, Saab then reduced it to 2.0 and turbocharged it for GM European forced induction applications.

    Lotus then Supercharged it in 2.0 form for the American market.

    But in answer to the orignal question, if you only doing average mileage, then it is the best all rounder. But then again, there is nothing wrong with the 1.9 CDTi.
