How to install an Audi Style LED DRL?

Can someone tell me how to connect the wiring for the Audi Style LED lights?

I have them connected to the foglights but it will flicker when off, very annoying.

Do I need to get a DRL module?
Wiring diagram will be very helpful.
Please help!

the headlight monitoring system will cause the leds to flicker as it doesnt like them

you would need to fit a resistor in line to prevent the flickering

fit them to a diy switch on the dash wired from the ciggy lighter or something?

Wire them up to the stereo illumination.

This is not monitored by the canbus system.

They will also light up when you unlock the car, which looks very flash!

i have DRLS on mine and i found a spare fusecavity within the engine bay that becomes active with engine running.
easy to wire in, but i def wish id have thought of wiring it to the info screen backlight.

Does that not turn off after a few seconds?

Do they stay on when the lights are switched on?

When the car is unlocked they come on for about 30 secs....

Obviously they stay on when the lights are switched on, thats the whole point of stereo illumination.
