confused OK, Now I'm Confused (Fault Codes)

Can anyone link me to the definitive source of fault codes for the Vec-C?

The reason I ask is because Rushy's sticky thread here states one thing, yet Ste's post here states another, which looks like it comes from this list (or one similar).

The reason I ask is my EML has come on today with the following codes:

    Rushy's list =
P0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)
    P1614 SBDS Interactive Codes
    P1616 SBDS Interactive Codes

    Other list =
    P0170 Lean Exhaust C-30
P1614 Wrong Security Code received Immobiliser C-06
P1616 Wrong Vehicle ID from Instrument Control Module C-40

So you can see where the confusion comes in, I have no idea which is correct, heck, they could both mean the same thing just worded differently.

The car seems to run fine, I had a new flip key a couple of months ago in case that's at all relevant, but the it's no different with the old keys. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thats from the 3.2 Engine module.

If anyone has microsoft office Excel and wants to start collating this list I will add each module over the next few weeks and then you should be able to 'sort' the list in excel to get the number sequencing right. If theres no interest I wont do it.

ISO 15031-6 is an international standard for diagnostic codes (not GM-specific). It's not freely available, but there's an interesting link amongst some Chinese text here:

Thanks fellas. So, it looks like a trip to the dealers is in order. The odd thing is, the car starts & runs fine.

A quick thought, I wonder if 1614 & 1616 could have anything to do with the fact I disconnected the alarm siren? It has been disconnected for over a year though, so I don't know why it would be just throwing up errors now, apart from the usual "Safeguard Check" that it does all the time.

Just hoping for a simple/cheap fix I guess.
