    Default Edinburgh

When we were in Edinburgh, there were many statues of cows placed all over the place some painted and some with writing on, we never found out what they were there to represent, do any of the Scotish members know, thus putting our mind,s to rest. We still can not get over how nice the city was nor how friendly the people there were, we are looking forward to going back.

Cheers David, now I understand, it all becomes clear now.

Bryan, hope fully we will be back in Scotland and have more time to take a tour round and see Dundee, there are so many places we would like to see in Scotland, we have got a taste for the place now.

David, our hotel was about 15 mins from Edinburgh, at Joppa, we walked from Joppa to the Royal Yacht Britannia, then walked around the shopping center before going on the Yacht, brilliant ship isn,t it. do you live far from Joppa then.

no ed im about 18 miles to the east of edinburgh down the coast a bit the shopping centre (ocean terminal ) you were on about is pretty new but that part of edinburgh is going through a big development program at the moment as you would have seen they are making new ground for up market flats there is a quarry just of the road in to my house and there has been tons and tons of stone been carted too build up the sea front for all the new flats
