    Default Thinking of...

    ...getting rid of the snowflakes

I don't really want to but with the amount of miles that I do and a lot of them motorway I could do with a little peace and quite and less damage to my pocket when it comes time to change the tyres .

I was thinking of trying to swap them for some 18" multispokes of equal quality plus a little money my way. What do you guys think? Am I being sensible or should I just shut up and keep them??

I love my snowflakes, only thing i dislike is the terrible tramlining you get with 19's.

Tell me about it mate. You can't sit in the 'slow lane' on the motorways with 19's because the car will follow every line curve and bump in the road or groves that the lorrys have made over the years

I will probably look to change. I am looking at the GM multispokes really, quite like the look of them.

Lump, how much of a difference in terms on road noise and handling did you notice when you changed yours mate?

Ive had both 18's and 19's on vectras and astras
difference is noticeable but not sure its worth the sacrifice in the look of the car personally.

How about a set of 18" snowflakes ? Bit of a compromise in looks though.
