The problem is that the VXR springs are designed to hold a 2.8 ltr V6 petrol engine and you'll be asking it to hold a 2.0 ltr DTI engine. Best asking someone on here with a VXR to check their door pillar for the front axle weights and compare them to yours just to be safe. Otherwise it could sit too high at the front or too low

If it comes that these weights are near as dam the same then there is no reason why they wouldn't fit your motor mate

Yes they will fit, & as above you need to make sure the axle weights are the same or very near

thanks guys- I believe both cars fall into the 1001kg+ front axle category so I may be onto a winner. also believe all rear axles apart from the estates share the same springs anyway- is ths correct too??

    ta in advance- again :-)

according to another thread the vxr axle weights are
    1) 1095
    2)985

    mine are
    1)1060
    2)980

so do you guys who know molre than i think or believe the vxr springs would be suited to my dti??

I'm guessing 5kg difference on the rear isn't gonna make the slightest odds as s bag of shopping can weigh that- and it seems equally plausible that the 35kg heavier on the front would only mean both cars fall into the 1060+ spring category with the 2.2 dti and the 1.9cdti- and that the 3.0cdti and the v6 petrol going into the 1101kg+ spring category, leaving the 1.6, 1.8, 2.2 petrols in the 995 category???

been reading a lot today :-)

does my thinking make sense or have i been here too long?? 8-D

    thanks dh.
shall try to get em bought asap so i've got em ready when i can afford the b4 in a few weeks.
I'm assuming the vxr are the same drop as eibachs and that b4s are gonna be ok.

    anyone knowe different?
