    Default Swirl valve Cleaner ?

Is it possible to clean the crud around the swirl valves using carb cleaner or some other product, not much mentioned about this. Any potential problems that would arise from doing this.

Are you referring to the actual swirl flaps or the pegs/rod on the top of the manifold as there shouldnt be any rubbish there.

If you are talking about the actual internals of the manifold I wouldnt recommend it - driving slightly hard for a few miles once a week should keep them clean.

Running permanently on V-Power Diesel or BP Ultimate diesel will clean everything up and keep it clean.

But my advice, if it is not playing up, don't take it to bits to clean it. Let the decent fuel do it's stuff over a period of time.

Probably why i have never had a fault.

Ive got cruddy oil around the top of my swirls, but am well aware this will be a manifold issue, and most likely require replacement.

It's only just come back from the stealers after yet another warranty job, so im going to hang fire for two weeks, before booking back in again
