Default Broken car....Not atteming starting..throttle postion sensor?

On my way to go shopping....Tration control light came on.
Revs stuck to 1500rpm and got no throttle response at all!!

Turned engine off (Big mistake) and would not attemt to start again.
2hours later just before the RAC arrived it started but still no throttle responce.

The Rac man turned the engine off and wouldnt start again.

He plugged in diagnostics machine and it came up with the following fault codes

    P1120 - throttle position sensor
    P1122 - throttle position sensor
    P0621
    P1614
    P0380
    P1616

Something he did reset the throttle responce sensor and then he cleared all the other fault codes.

    Went to start it. Nothing

He then bypassed the canbus i believe and ran a wire straight from the battery to the starter motor and it fired straight up!

Drove round the corner on came the TC light came back with no throttle response. I limped it home.

Now its sat on the drive.
Wouldnt start so ive dissconnected the battery for now.

Lots of money at vauxhalls yes?

    Vehicle : Jaguar XF 3.0D V6

    Trim : Black

    Engine : 3.0D V6

    Year : 0000

    Default

    P0380 - Glow Plug/Heater Circuit "A" Malfunction
    P0621 - Generator L-Terminal Circuit
P1120 - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1 Circuit
P1122 - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Intermittent Low Voltage
P1614 - Wrong Security Code received Immobiliser
P1616 - Wrong Vehicle ID from Instrument Control Module

Do you get the padlock symbol on the dash?

The throttle position sensor (TPS) errors could be either a dislodged plug or a defective sensor. I don't know if you can buy the sensor separately from the accelerator pedal. Firstly I would remove the sensor and check the resistances with a multimeter as you move it between the limits of it's travel.
Some have 2 outputs - one goes higher as the other reduces resistance and there may also be an idle validation switch inside it too. A stuck idle is indicative of a failed TPS in some way.

The key and immobiliser fault codes are me. I took the transponder out the key to see if it came up with the same light on dash thinking maybe it was an immobiliser fault. Thats when i got a padlocked car.

Went out this morning and started it up using a long piece of wire with the battery and starter motor.

Up she fired and I had all throttle response back so i went to vauxhalls. Left it with them.

As i walked into reception I thought id turn around and try starting it again just incase its fine and I look like a prat.

    Haha....it was fine and started.

    Typicall.

Its having a major service while its there.....£208!!! And then whatevers wrong with it ontop as theres bound to be something!!

Hi, at first sorry for my english... So, i've got vectra c Z18XE and this night on my way home blinked on me car with key and vectra fell into emergency mode (it was for third time, first time 10 days ago). Engine rpm were beetwen 1300 - 1500, max speed 20km/h.
    Diagnostics says
P1500 - Throttle Control Motor Malfunction
    (52) - Not present
P1550 - Electronic Throttle Control Power Management
    (03) - Not present

Does anybody know, where is a problem? I read that it could be in ECU. I cleaned up throttle control, but still the same problem.

Ive work out how to fix this problem if anybody has it again!

Turn the ignition off but leave the key in,unplug the wire to the commonrail.....wait few seconds and plug back in!

    Away you go!
