    Default SRi Ride Quality

Is it just me or is the ride in a 1.8Sri a bit harsh and crashy? No mods done, just a standard 2007 car. Suspension checked at the last service and nothing wrong.

I find my 58 to be really smooth and I get a nice clunk when I hit a pothole
It's a better ride than my last Mondeo though less feedback through the steering wheel.

try 19" wheels, then see how comfy your car is lol. I was told to try elegance springs to soften the ride.

My ride is firm with 16" wheels. Not what i'd call comfortable, but i don't have a problem with it.
Bruised buttocks are slightly better than spewing from kinetosis, like you get with Citroens and yankmobiles.

SRi includes lowered uprated suspension, as they have for decades, compared to Design or whatever - lowering reduces the suspension travel and the uprate means stiffer springs/dampers - both of which are diametrically opposite to the requirements for a good ride, although they are exactly what's needed to improve the cornering and handling.

Hi, what are you comparing the ride with ? presume you have 17"'s so you should be fine. I am another with 19"'s on so mine will be harsh.

19's for ride......not the best lol.
