Spark plug spacing?

Hi chaps,

going to change the spark plugs on my dads 1.8 sri veccy tomorrow just wondering if there was a spacing requirement for these?

Plugs come ready gapped these days, I havent gapped a plug for years...

I space them out as one plug per hole ...

I think single electrode plugs still need to be gapped - but petrols use twin, triple or quad electrode these days - don't they? I haven't used a single electrode plug for well over 10 years.

if u get the proper plugs from the dealer they r pre set,u'll prob find that they r twin electrode n dont need gapping
