Default HELP!! Am starting to hate my signum! :(

the car to blame is a signum 2.2 direct petrol and Its falling to bits! lol! firstly the car with the spanner came on which quickly changed to the engine exhaust light constantly showing! its driving like a pile of poo! have now had the ecu changed at nearly £800 and it hasnt seemed to have done anything! although, it apparently cleared down some of the 26 faults that kept showing up! am now in need of an inlet manifold!
Does anyone have one lieing around that i can perhaps purchase??? or a fuel pump?? as im told i may need one of those to! ANyone know where i can get a cheapo one?
Whats happened to cars these days??? why cant they just be simple!

    Cheers

Sorry to hear this, I used to have a 2.2 - it failed miserably at 115,00o but luckily didnt have any other major faults, I see it as luck of the draw...

Cant help with parts but I think ebay is your best bet, there is loads of 2.2 parts on there.

This manifold shoud fit, its an upgraded 2.4 one from a Z22SE, I think it will fit, let someone clarify it, im too well up on the direct.

You don't want to fit the 2.4 inlet manifold unless you have a re-map to suit, it changes the charactaristics of the air/fuel ratio and the standard map can't cope.

You will gain a few more BHP but will lose a ton of torque.

Would it not be cheaper to get a warranty and then have the work taken out in a month or two?...The inlet manifold willl be covered

Although its a pain, the inlet manifold shouldn't cause any problems in the short term.
