Sat Nav Disc

Hi Guys

I have a '54 plate Signum 2.2i Elegance and it has Sat Nav fitted (the crappy turn-by-turn variety) but my gripe is the fact that I cannot access a preferences section so I can change to 'Quickest Route' from what seems to be 'Slowest by over half an hour but hey, it's half a mile shorter Route'. Is it just me? Can it be done? Or is there a more up-to-date disc I can purchase that will still work in my Sat Nav?

have you tried pressing the SETTINGS button whilst in navigation mode...it should bring up "Route Class" from which you can get fastest, shortest, motorway etc.

If yours won't do this, ask a friend to lend you his 04/04/2007 update disc

it will give all the latest firmware and software functions, but it also retains the original tmc settings.

there is a 09 disk, and the software is much the same as the 2007 disc, but you get traffic master instead of tmc...in my opinion tmc is far better.

sorry, that will be the wrong disc.

It is the software disc that filtee is after...usually called the language disc or update disc.

Map disc only covers roads and POI's. - No software / firmware updates
