Default HID's for my 07 SRi vectra

I've just registered to this site and I've been reading through lots of threads about HID's. I've got an 07 Vectra SRi and I want to install HID's to it but I have no idea which would work properly with my car. Does my car have canbus and which lights do I need to buy to bypass this problem?? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.

I didn't need the capictors in mine as they worked fine.

Your car is full canbus, and you'll require a H7 HID kit.

    I can recommend the following.

    http://www.hids4us.co.uk/h7.htm

You'll require the premium can-bus kit to prevent bulb failure errors.

You could also try HIDs Direct (their ebay site) - similar price to hids4us

What about the beem pattern was that ok and do the bulbs just fit into the slot where the old bulb sat? Aslo how did you get the wire through the plastic cover?

All I am really bothered about is that the beam pattern is still 'legal'. Also 4300k is like daylight right? and 600k is slightly blue?

I don't want proper blue lights, I would like bright white or white with slight blue. Which would be best 4300k or 6000k? I know that lots of people have probably asked this question and it maybe getting old but I'm too lazy to look my self, lol! Thanks.

You have to drill a hole through the covers.

I started with the 6k ones then went to 4.3k which is the closest to white light. The 6k were too blue for my liking.

What is the beam pattern like, is it shining all over the place or is it just like it was with the hallogens in? is the cut off the same?

The beam pattern will be just the same as with halogen bulbs - just much, much brighter!

I have 4300K and they are white without blue. I know most people on here go for the 6000K because they want that blue HID tint.
