Samsung LCD TV and SKY+

I have just got a Samsung LCD TV and want to pair the remotes up with my SKY+ box.

I have sucessfully got the Sky+ remote to operate the TV.

On the Samsung remote there are some multi-function keys for operating other devices. Unsure as to wether this means other Samsung devices, nothing stated in the manual.

Anyone know if the Samsung remote can be used to operate the Sky+ box?? If so, it's the code number i'm after?

I think it's just other Samsung stuff.

I've got a Philips touch screen remote that does my TV (Samsung), Sky+, DVD recorder & Hi-fi (well turns it on and off and adjusts volume). It used to do the video too but I've taken it out the loop.

Most of the stuff i can see from google all kinda says the same thing, try all 999 different codes lol

no samsung remotes will not control sky boxes at all,when i worked for
comet on the home delivery i also done installations of all audio and we
were asked this on many times if it could be done and its not possible

this also applies to other makes of tv`s etc
