    Default 150 cdti

    Is it me or does this engine have a huge gaping flat spot before 2k rpm ? now ive done a bit of mileage in it , it doesnt feel any quicker than a 130ps TDCI mondeo and as for turbo lag ...... bin laden could be hiding in there i wouldnt know , the mondeo is soo linear from the start ie 1k rpm , the vec feels like an old school diesel of all or nothing in comparison , which is a shame

    lol...I test drove a mondeo before i got my 150 Cdti and thought the Ford was Cr@p...guess it all comes down to personal preference.

    yeah ive got the very same, massive flat spot at 2k revs which isnt very good

    Induction kit soon sorts that out

    Perhaps a flat panel and airbox mod will sort help with the flat spot on the CDTi?

    Sure does mate..As fitted to my dads 150CDti.. he say's it's as quick as his old B V6..

    I think it's his age..
