Default What do you think is the best option?

My Complete Motoring Plan ends on 26 December 2009
As I have not used all the mileage allocation I will be due a refund
I paid for 120K miles, over the basic 60K miles
In effect this gave me 6 services, as they base the plan on 20K mile service intervals
So far the car has had 4 services
I checked and confirmed today that would be a refund equivalent to 2 services, or £300

The next service, according to the indicator, is not due for another 11K miles
However, Retailer Warranties are willing to pay for the next service, even though it would be performed early
    OR
I could book the car in and pay for the service myself

The idea is that if any faults are found on this service, then the warranty will pay for them
I am going to ask the dealership to pay specific attention to the brakes, as these also get paid for by the plan

So, should I pay for this service and get the £300 refund
    OR
let the plan pay and get the £150 refund

Typically a service is £150 PLUS VAT, plus the difference in cost between the standard oil and the correct GM-LL oil, taking it t near on £200
Based on that, I think the plan should pay

I am going to try and get the car booked in for 23 December

That's what I reckoned, it does mean I only get £150 back, but in effect it is about £50 in my favour
