I would say it'll be too hot. Unless you can work in the shade and a breeze. If moving the car from the sun to the shadeit make take half an hour to cool the surface to a normal temperature.

you should be ok if you wash the car 1st with cold water, or rinse with very cold water. Then wax in the shade. I normally wax my car either early in the morning 10-11ish or late evening 8ish as the sun is normally hidden at those times.Originally Posted by rushy
