    Default Heater Controls

    Got in my car before went to turn the heating from hot to cold and soon as it gets turned to max on either hot or cold it makes a loud clicking noise several times whats going on with it???

    I wonder if you have stripped a toth off one of the gears in the servo motor??.
    I know that when you get a clicking noise when you press the "recirc" button, or unlock the doors, you will have a gear with a tooth missing. It happened to my recirc" servo motor.

    Cheers mate I have just looked through the thread Soulman Posted and i only get clicking noise when I turn it on full heat or full cold not when the re circulation is pressed

    Maybe something stuck behind the vent, worth a closer inspection but don't poke it & break something then blame me hth ..................

    definitely sounds like a servo motor to me..
