    Thanks Ste for the information.

    There is no documentation with the car - i am told, and the EGR needs replacing / cleaning.

    I know it is a 1.8Litre engine, thanks for the sarcasm.

    The X18XE (bigblock) and X18XE1 (smallblock) engines ceased production by July 2000 for all Opel/Vauxhalls sold in the EU and replaced for 2001 model year by the Z18XE to comply with EOBD/OBD2 regulations and emission regulations.
