    Default ARB sizes.....Again!!

    Evening all,

I know there has been several threads on here about ARB sizes but has anyone come to find the right size?
I am going to need to change mine soon but cant find the exact sizes for the front and rear unless i take them off first but would ideally like to change them there and then.
I have a friend that works in a Saab garage in the parts department which i have service items from and i believe the drop links and ARB`s are the same as the 93 but need part numbers from the vauxhall equivalent to match them up but he cant without the sizes.

Can anybody help or has anyone changed them on the Vectra CDTi Estate ??

    Thanks in advance.

There are 3 sizes on the front 24mm, 24.2mm and 25.2mm.

On the rear there are also 3 different sizes 17mm, 18mm and 19mm.

PM me your reg number mate and hopefully only one size for each end of the car will be listed, so we'll know which size you need. BTW, I assume it's the ARB bush you want to change, not the ARB itself?

Apparently the 19mm rear and the 25.2mm front is for a sport chassis or larger capacity engine such as the V6 etc; so really i could fit either of the two remaining sizes as there is only up to 1mm difference, the smallest is probably the best bet.

Right, PM with reg number received. For the front, it's showing two sizes, 24mm and 25.2mm; it's not showing the middle size. If I had to wager which it was, I'd go for the smaller one. However, as they only cost about £2.50 each, I think you should buy 2 of the small ones and 2 of the large ones, and when you take the old ones off you can compare the part numbers with the new ones. Plus, there's a good chance you'd get a refund on the unused pair.

For the rear, better news - it lists 18mm and 19mm, but mentions that the 19mm is for the "lowered sports chassis", i.e. SRi spec, so 18mm is the one to go for (part number 24457386).
