    Default Double din stereo fitting

I apologise if this has been covered before but i seem to be chasing my tail some what
I have pioneer hd3 11 to fit to my 04 plate signum however after i have brought fascia surround and steering control lead i find that neither fascia fit or lead anything like the one fitted to my car - this kit has been sent back because apparently its for a later model (didnt realise there was different models)
can anyone point me in the right direction for a fascia in dark grey (standard interior for 2.0t design) and a lead to connect to my push button controls on my steering wheel - the plug is the standard plug that has been used on cars for years plus a smaller one
also has anyone have any ideas where i can put the bluetooth and ipod unit and gps receiver thingy? and also where to run the ipod lead into the car cabin
    thanks

Speed signal is the blue/red wire on pin 5 of the ISO plug of the main stereo lead. (cars upto October 2004).

Be aware also which way you wire up permanent and ignition live wires...vauxhall has always done these the wrong way round..
    To help
    red is permanent live
    black is ignition live
    grey/black or grey/green is illumination
red/white is aerial . amplifier supply
brown is earth / chassis / ground

The ipod connector can be placed anywhere you like, either a switch blank, or you can get a proper socket and cubby-hole box from Vauxhall. It will sit in the gap below you heater controls but above your ashtray.

I would expect it to be charcoal grey...
If you take out the headunit, it will have a large sticker on it with the two lettercolour code on it...
Charcoal is CC Otherwise look for the colour panel arrowed!!

make sure your wheel connectors will fit the ISO connectors...same as the Omega B. not the later quadlock
Most SOT leads come with the quadlock...if needs-be contact the seller first.
Note also Halfords are usually approx twice the price of everyone else.

The wheel control wires will be "radio Manufacturer" specific JVC, Kenwood or Sony..etc

Yes wth the correct adapter loom the display will indeed work, but it will not show info from your aftermarket radio....just clock, temperature, date and BC if GID or higher

    Aye that's what I said...
Yours is the old ISO connection as used on Vauxhalls between 1987 and October 2004.
The most reliable way to get a loom to suit is to ask for one for an Omega B (1998 to 2003).

As also said...most leads identified as SOT units have the quadlock plug, hence why I said "check with seller" before you buy...just incase they assume that all Vectra C's have the same connection.

also - double din is a european "cage size" standard, and apart from the holes at the back for connectors...they should be very similar.
