Did my charity walk today.........

and i'm knackered !

Very heavy under foot, lots of mud, leaves and dog walkers !
My calf muscles are so sore its unreal ! They feel twice as big as they were. Had to follow a road for a while, only to find it under 8" of flood water after last nights downpours. Had to backtrack about 1/4 mile !

I took lots of pictures as i went along, only for my camera battery to go flat on me after only a few miles. So not as many as i could have taken.
There was a training exercise going on at Arley village, took some pics of the guys in their boats as i had my first rest of the day. Also met a lad taking his ferrets for a walk !!!

Did i enjoy it ? YES....!
Would i do it again ? NO....! Well maybe in the summer !

After a chat with my mother, i've decided that the original £500 i wanted to get will go to the hospice. Every penny over that, i've decided is going to a childrens charity. Don't know which one yet, but the 'Make a Wish Foundation' is looking like a good posibility at the moment.
