    Default How Can I Remove Creases from my roof lining?

    iv'e been messing bout with my roof lining trying to get to the aerial point and when i put it back theres creases can i just simply iron them out or?

    Have you got, or know someone who has a handheld steamer, or use one of those steamers for stripping wallpaper, never done it but cant see why it wouldnt work and they are good enough for our velor curtains then they should be ok on roof lining.

    That could/might delaminate the lining from the other layers behind it though.

    Stick a damp teatowel and its important it is only damp and run an iron over the area I have done that before and its worked but never tried it on a veccy, only astra gsi when the sunroof leaked and I had to pull it all apart.

    Mine was like that after i finished messing about fitting a rear interior light. I just put it all back and pulled it tight and after a week or so i can't see them anymore.

    Same mate i was so ****ed off with myself for creasing mine but they disapered after a few days

    Yep defiantly m8, I was extremely ****** ‘Annoyed’ with myself, one simple job to do and it looked like it had ruined my car, but a month later and you can't tell I ever had the roof liner off
