    Angry Ariel Damaged

well were do i start the mrs went to the supermarket the other day and while she was in there some little ******* decided to attempt to pinch my anti theft ariel but had absolutley no joy whatsoever.now that sounds great but hey it's not the little ******* has made a right mess who ever did it ruined the inner thread and practically destroyed the pod on top of the car so its useless to use cus the arial won't stay on now.

complete replacement apparently ,i've spoke to vx depending on what pods on top of the car depends on the price varries from £25 to £58 then obviously labour on top of that .

    so i'm well miffed off!!!!!!

People just don't care about people property anymore it's a shame!!!!!

would this be an easy job to do myself or not?save on the labour costs.

How annoying, little f****rs can't leave anything alone. You might be able to fit a new one ok Nick if the headlining comes down easy?
Give me a shout if you want, might not be too bad to fit?

    Little fu**ers!!!

It should be an easy enough job Nick. Drop down the headlining and you should be able to replace it yourself - save a pile of labour charges!

Anti theft is a good ideal, but sometimes its easier to leave the car unlocked than have it deadlocked.!!!!

just tell me they didn't damage the roof panel or paint Nick..

the pod will change easily, like everyone said, just lower the rear of the roof lining..( grab handles out at the rear etc).. and work in the drooped area..

If you PM me which type is is i'll see i i can get one cheaper than the price the main dealer offered you.. ..As i've got to pop and see you anyway.

As before, i hate to see people getting ripped by VX, when theres a way to get bits cheaper..
