i believe the VXR ones are lower.

Before i had mine lowered, there was a noticeable diffence between mine and a mates SRi, but this may be due to engine weight as his was the 1.8 VVT

The engine weight should be taken into account with the springs weight ratings.

Fireyfella, you would need to check the axle weights of the vxr and yours because if yours is a lot lighter than a vxr then it could end up riding higher.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

VXR springs are supposed to be 10mm lower than the SRI , but to me it looks more when the two are side by side. They will improve the handling a bit too. As for the weights of the cars the 1.8 is around 180kg lighter than the VXR but thats spread through the full car , so they would be fine imo , especially a set that are already bedded in

Just remember putting springs on a car which are not the correct axle weight could invalidate your insurance

I looked round a vxr a couple of weeks ago and happened to measure the gaps between the tyres/arches for comparison with my sri 18vvti. Admittedly it was only 'finger' gauge but, side-by-side the ride height was exactly the same: 3 at the front, 1 at the rear (fingers that is).
