Most obvious thing would be a blocked drain plug near the pollen filter; on some other makes of cars dodgy A/C can cause wet n/s floor as well.

Open bonnet... locate meshed/slotted area of scuttle area to the front of passenger side of windscreen.... gently lift off rubber seal that overlaps forward edge of scuttle panel.... this will permit you to lift the portion of the scuttle that cover the cabin air intake/pollen filter.

Use a torch and look straight down this 'chamber' forward of the pollen filter and toward the centreline of the car..... when dry you can see the rubber drain liner that tends to get clogged.... when wet, find something long, thin and stiff, yet flexible to poke about to try and clear the drain.

when the drain is blocked the water finds its way into the car....... so where does the drain, drain to? if that makes sense?
its not my motor, its a woman who works at the salon for me, but i get shafted with all her car repairs.

It just drains to the grounds mate. If the footwell is wet then she may start getting heater problems. VX's fix was to just drill a hole in the bottom of the fan housing until they brought out a revised design.
