    Default facelift grille

    How easy is it to remove the grille from a facelift model i want to remove the chrome V piece to colour code it all advice welcome.

    Hello mate, its an absolutely nightmare to do.

    You need to take the bumper off, then there is 100's of clips. You need to take the black panel off the back of the grille before you get to the grille. Will take a couple of hours to do. I had a painted grille to go in once i removed the old one.

    A great mod when you finally do it, check out my photo's in previous threads.

    Removing only the chrome V isnt that hard, it is a bit fiddly and yes you do have to remove the bumper, there are about 9/10 clips and then it pulls off,

    Thanks for the advice. I picked up my mudflaps today from the painters and asked the guys about spraying my grille and they said about 3 hours to strip down and he quoted me 160 quid to do the job sounds good to me

    Just looked your car up m8 looks great love the diffuser fancy one for mine.

    i have a spare chrome v grill with the badge one of the lugs is snapped but attatches perfectly regardless.
    not looking for too much for it pm me if interested
