    Default brake pad clip

Changed pads 4 weeks ago and ever since the retaining spring keep popping out and costing me £5 a time. This is now the third time. First went N/s then O/s and today N/s again. and of all things my dealers dont stock them so 2 day waiting with caliper clapping loudly over every bump.

They are on an 06 facelift and are the ones that look like a twisted coat hanger. I press them into place and hook over caliper but they still pop out.

    any ideas guys

id double check they are fitting fully in the holes. I took mine out the other week, cleaned them up, put them back in and never have any trouble. They are quite tight to fit, are you tucking them onto the flat part of the caliper and fully inserted into the hole?

Yes putting them onto flat part and actually pressing them into holes with a pliers. Will take a look at weekend
