Default Lights on when car is unlocked

If I click the remote once to unlock the interior lights come on if I click it twice the number plate lights come on. No headlights or tailights come on. Are the rear number plates meant to come on and why only them?

Is there anyway to wire it up so the headlights (Side ) and tailights come on?

Thats all standard my friend, the number plate lights comes on to help you find the car in a dark car park etc.... You can get the guide me home lights on if you flick the headlight stalk when you turn the car off and they come on for 30 secs.

Stick some mtec 501's in as your number plate lights and you'll be proud of them coming on

I have just replaced my mtec sidelights with philips blue vision and was just going to keep the mtecs as spare. Didn't know they would fit in the number plate light.....result!! Do they look good?

The number plate lights come on when the boot is unlocked to light up the ground at the back of the car. There are cards that can make the lights come on when opening the car
